    Android's goal as an open source project is to avoid any central point of failure where one industry player can limit or control the innovation of any other player. To this end, Android is a complete, production-quality operating system for consumer products with customizable source code that can be ported to virtually any device.



Business model

    As a business model, you can take the “Complete Platform” business model and the most example of such a business model is Apple.
    This business model is special in that the same environment is installed on all Apple devices makes it very easy to optimize programs for this platform, but also provides full compatibility all devices at once, which gives a great advantage for this platform in the eyes of providers. It also gives Apple full control, they can completely control their platform and also their rules wherever they want, but it also creates artificial scarcity and also gives the to create a monopoly in the market by promoting their programs.
